Most important facts about the Mixed 10m Platform Synchro event.

At the 2015 FINA World Championships in Kazan, Si Yajie (CHN) and Tai Xiaohu (CHN) won the inaugural edition of the mixed 10m platform synchro at the world championships.
This season at the FINA Diving World Series the Chinese duo Lian Jie (CHN)/Lian Junjie (CHN) won all four meets.
Behind Lian and Lian, Russia's Viktor Minibaev (RUS) and Yulia Timoshinina (RUS) claimed two second places in this event at this year's FINA Diving World Series.
Minibaev and Timoshinina could become the first Russian duo to claim a medal in this event. At the inaugural edition of the mixed 10m platform synchro in 2015 Timoshinina finished in fifth place with then partner Nikita Shleikher (RUS).
Meaghan Benfeito (CAN) and Vincent Riendeau (CAN) took the silver medal in the mixed 10m platform synchro in 2015. The pair finished second (Windsor) and third (Beijing) once in the FINA Diving World Series this season.
Melissa Wu (AUS) and Domonic Bedggood (AUS) finished third in this event at the world championships in 2015. As a pair they claimed two podium finishes in the FINA Diving World Series this season: third in Windsor and Kazan.
In the World Series meet in Guangzhou on 11 March, Bedggood formed a duo with Taneka Kovchenko (AUS). They finished third.
