Diving - 3m Springboard Synchro Women

·    Shi Tingmao (CHN) and Chang Yani (CHN) won women's 3m springboard synchro.
·    China has now won each of the last nine world titles in women's 3m springboard synchro, since the gold went to Russian duo Irina Lashko (RUS) and Yulia Pakhalina (RUS) when this event debuted at the World Championships in 1998.
·    Shi, who won a gold medal in this event paired up with Wu Minxia (CHN) at each of the previous two editions of the World Championships, joined Wu and Guo Jingjing (CHN) as the only divers with more than two gold medals in women's 3m springboard synchro.
·    Chang Yani claimed her first World Championships medal of any colour.
·    Jennifer Abel (CAN) and Melissa Citrini Beaulieu (CAN) claimed silver.
·    Abel previously claimed a medal in this event at each of the last three editions of the World Championships (S2-B1). She joined Yulia Pakhalina (4, G1-S2-B1) as the most decorated non-Chinese diver of this event.
·    Abel became the first non-Chinese diver to claim a medal in this event at four consecutive World Championships.
·    Kristina Ilinykh (RUS) and Nadezhda Bazhina (RUS) took the bronze home.
·    It was Russia's fifth medal in this event (G1-S2-B2), second to China's 10 (G9-S1).
·    Ilinykh and Bazhina's medal was the first for Russia in this event since 2009, when Yulia Pakhalina and Anastasia Pozdniakova (RUS) claimed bronze.

Diving - 10m Platform Synchro Men

·    Chen Aisen (CHN) and Yang Hao (CHN) won China's seventh gold medal in men's 10m platform synchro. No other country has won more than one.
·    Chen joined Tian Liang (CHN) on two World Championships gold medals in this event. Only Huo Liang (CHN, 3) and Lin Yue (CHN, 3) won this event more often.
·    In 2015 Chen won this event together with Lin.
·    Aleksandr Bondar (RUS) and Viktor Minibaev (RUS) took home the silver medal for Russia.
·    It was Russia's third silver medal in this event at the World Championships, the highest number of silvers so far. Germany and Mexico finished second two times.
·    Patrick Hausding (GER) and Sascha Klein (GER) claimed the bronze medal. The duo joined Huo Liang (G3), Lin Yue (G3), Tian Liang (G2-B1) and Hu Jia (CHN, G1-S1-B1) on a record three medals in this event.
