100 programmes awaiting you in Budapest and Balatonfüred

17th FINA World Championships and 17th FINA Masters World Championships Hungarian host cities including the capital city, Budapest and Balatonfüred providing the open water swimming venue are of uniquely rich cultural, natural and built heritage. World championships for six disciplines will be held in the middle of the high season thus those arriving in Budapest or lake Balaton for the championships will inevitably become involved in the flurry of events. Bp2017 Media has collected 100 tips on spending quality free time in the area 100 days prior to the commencement of events on July 14th.

Summer is approaching as it is reflected by the weather and the calendar is also in line with our expectations. There are 100 days left until the event, the 17th FINA World Championships will begin on 14th July. The biggest sporting event in the history of Hungary will be the world championships of six disciplines. The protagonists are becoming more and more excited and determined, therefore preparation is getting harder and harder.

She is the most experienced member of the host synchronised swimming team. She was the Synchronised Swimmer of the Year 3 times (2008, 2010, 2011), being 17 she was the youngest member of the whole Hungarian delegates in the London Olympic Games. However, a year later suddenly she retired from racing. Now the 17th FINA World Championships provides her with another chance and possibility. Szofi Kiss will certainly be a protagonist at the event in Városliget.

According to Cornel Marculescu, Executive Director of FINA, the 17th FINA World Championships in Hungary are expected to be one of the best in the history of the Event. The director of the International Swimming Federation and the members of the various disciplines’ Technical Committees evaluated the preparations of the 17th FINA World Championships in joint meetings and site visits with the Budapest 2017 Organising Committee.
