The closing ceremony of the World Championships attracts huge interest. All free tickets for the spectacular closing ceremony have been sold out in less than an hour, therefore organisers have decided to open the final rehearsal for the public.

Registration for free entry tickets to the closing ceremony of the 17th FINA World Championships staged in Papp László Sports Arena was opened on Monday morning. Thanks to the high interest all available tickets have been sold out via the online ticket sales system in less than an hour therefore organisers decided to make the final rehearsal open for the public.

The 17th FINA World Championships will be closed in the course of a gigantic modern circus and dance show on 30 July in Papp László Sports Arena to honour athletes of superhuman achievements as well as fans and volunteers.  The closing ceremony conducted by Müpa (Palace of Arts) will feature a highly spectacular show by more than 200 circus artists and dancers. The performance directed by Bence Vági will last for about 40 minutes and the central theme will be the Legend of the Wondrous Hunt. During the closing ceremony the audience will see a slideshow of highlights of the World Championships, in addition, Hungary will officially welcome the host of the 2019 World Championships, South Korea.

After registration was opened on Monday morning, a huge number of people visited eventim ticket sales website, thanks to the tremendous interest all the tickets (available free of charge but subject to registration) were sold out in less than an hour.

Similarly to the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony will be broadcast live by M4, yet in light of the huge interest organisers decided to make the final rehearsal open for the public. Attendance at the final rehearsal taking place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, 29 July is free of charge but registration is obligatory in this case, as well, due to the limited number of seats. Free tickets for the final rehearsal are available through the website of the closing ceremony on eventim tickets sales platform. Registration for the final rehearsal is open from 10 a.m. Wednesday, 26 July, 2017.
