The preliminary round of the 1 m springboard will be the first event at the new Dagály Aquatics Complex on 14 July, 2017. The last medals will go to the best competitors of the men’s 10 m platform on Saturday, 22 July.

 

Diving will be at the centre of attention in the first half of the 2017 FINA World Championships in the new Dagály Aquatics Complex in Budapest. On Friday, 14 July the preliminary rounds of the men’s and women’s 1 m springboard will be held.

The schedule of the following days:

Saturday, 15 July: men’s 3 m synchronised springboard preliminaries, men’s 3 m synchronised springboard final, mixed 10 m platform synchro final, women’s 1 m springboard final, men’s 3 m synchro final.

Sunday, 16 July: women’s 10 m platform synchro preliminaries, men’s 1m springboard final, women’s 10 m platform synchro final.

Monday, 17 July: women’s 3 m synchro preliminaries, men’s 10 m platform synchro preliminaries, women’s 3 m synchro final, men’s 10 m platform synchro final.

Tuesday, 18 July: women’s 10 m platform preliminaries, women’s 10 m platform semi-final, mixed team final.

Wednesday, 19 July: men’s 3 m springboard preliminaries, men’s 3 m springboard semi-final, women’s 10 m platform final.

Thursday, 20 July: women’s 3 m springboard preliminaries, women’s 3 m springboard semi-final, men’s 3 m springboard final.

Friday, 21 July: men’s 10 m platform preliminaries, men’s 10 m platform semi-final, women’s 3 m springboard final.

Saturday, 22 July: mixed 3 m synchro final, men’s 10 m platform final.

Unlike the Olympics, where the rules of FINA are in effect regarding the qualification, at the World Championships the national federations decide which athletes can compete. In the individual events two divers, in the synchro and team events one pair/team can take part from each nation.
