10:50 – South-Africa – Greece (Group C)
12:10 - Spain– Serbia (Group C)
Greece was able to beat Spain in the first round on Monday, which was quite an achievement. They are the favourites against South Africa and with a win, they could claim the second place in Group C.
However, it will come true only if Spain cannot surprise Serbia. Spain has to win this game if they want to be in contention for the second place. Of course, they won’t have an easy game, in fact playing against Serbia is not a piece of cake for any team, taking into account that they won the last nine FINA tournaments.
Standings: 1. Serbia 2 p, 2. Greece 2 p, 3. Spain 0 p, 4. South Africa 0 p.
13:30 - Russia – Croatia (Group D)
17:30 - USA – Japan (Group D)
Two unbeaten teams face off in the last game of the morning programme, both Russia and Croatia were able to win on Monday. Garcia and Loncar each scored 4 goals for Croatia, who have a chance for a medal in this tournament. Russia – led by former player Sergey Evstigneev – have to play their best game and they have to be careful with the above mentioned star players.

Standings: 1. Russia 2 p, 2. Croatia 2 p, 3. USA 0 p, 4. Japan 0 p.
18:50 - Canada – Kazakhstan (Group A)
Canada brought the tournament’s biggest surprise so far when they were able to steal a point from Montenegro on Monday morning. They scored 4 straight goals to equalize at the end of the game. This is a really important game for Kazakhstan as they try to take home at least one point from Hungary. This should also be a close game.
Standings: 1. Brazil 2 p, 2. Canada 1 p, 3. Montenegro 1 p, 4. Kazakhstan 0 p.
20:10 - Hungary – Italy (Group B)
The biggest game of the day starts in primetime in front of fanatic home crowd, thanks to them the atmosphere in Hajós Complex has been amazing so far.
Hungary was able to dominate Australia on Monday after a slow start, their defence was spectacular and their best scorer was Dénes Varga with four goals. In contrast, Italy started off well in the first quarter and scored seven in the third period. Their man of the match was Di Fulvio with five goals.
The two teams finished the last couple of FINA tournaments similarly and this game is going to decide who wins Group B, so both teams should play with extra effort.
21:30 - Brazil – Montenegro (Group A)
The big question here is how Montenegro will react to Monday’s surprising result against Canada, where they let their guard down in the fourth quarter and Canada took advantage of it, battling out a draw at the end. Will Montenegro fight twice as hard as they normally do or was the last game discouraging? Nonetheless, they are the favourites, although if Brazil can repeat their amazing defence showed against Kazakhstan, Montenegro might be in trouble.
